Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mother’s Day to those mothers checking the blog.  And to those that don’t.

My mother passed quite a while ago.  I must say that I miss her, but her positive energy she had still vibrates in me.  This was a lady that had quite a storyline.  Graduate of college.  Teacher of the underprivileged.    Mother of 4.  Grandmother of 10.  Lived to see her first great grandchild.  Was active until the day she passed.  And talk about memorable, she passed away while reading the Sunday comics.

Mothers are a special breed.  They are teachers, providers and protectors.  But also comforters and disciplinarians.  I have 2 daughters that have become mothers, raising 7 children between the two of them.   Their legacies will be based on their stamina and perseverance. 

And my wife as a mother of 3 has endured hardships while holding steady to the reigns.  A rock for the family and a spiritual leader.  God provided me with the perfect mother for our children.
