MWT - The Cloud
On one of our stops in the Moose Whisperer Tour we had a fairly steady-state view of a majestic snow capped mountain. We kept driving, seeing the mountain from different angles and different elevations. We came back the next day and the cloud was still there.
And I thought, this is like the story in the Bible when Moses got the 10 commandments. He witnessed a mountain that was covered in fire and clouds. Check out Deuteronomy 4. The clouds represented the displacement between God and His people. It was meant to prevent Moses from seeing God directly and ending his life as he knew it.
There are many times in our life that we feel that there is a cloud preventing us from seeing God. If that is true for you, you should step back and try looking from a different perspective. We may not see God directly, but we can see His creation and works. The beauty of the mountain itself is a wonder that God created. Watching your neighbor reach out an assist another neighbor fix a fence is an act of God through the neighbor.
God has His hands everywhere. Take the time to relax and look for His work.
