Where is your sanctuary? I have a pastor buddy that established a prayer closet. His family knew that when he entered, he wasn’t to be bothered. I don’t have a “do not enter” zone. I can understnad the beauty and consistency of a prescibed sanctuary, but so much of my worship and study occurs where other things occur, I can’t realy rpescirbe it as a sanctuary. I believe in a Spirit driven sanctuary. The Spirit will tell me that an area has been designated as my sanctuary, maybe just for a moment. This doesn’t limit my sanctuaries to Spirit driven, however. We used to have a hot-tub. The noise of the jets minimized to ability for conversations and interaction. When I got in the hot-tub, I could pray and meditate with minimal interruption. yeah for sanctuaries.
