The Moose Whisperer Tour (MWT) - McKendree

We were detoured on Day 3 while driving in Kentucky. Not a stressful event, my phone app is designed to watch for any traffic or bridge/tunnel that could prevent me from towing the RV through the area. We were directed off a 4 lane highway on to a narrow 2 lane windy rollercoaster type road. Challenging enough for me to pay attention to my driving habits and oncoming traffic. I was amazed to come around a tight corner to discover that we were passing McKendree Methodist Church. I was fully aware that this church existed. We’ve stumbled on their website a number of times looking for our site. But to drive 1000 miles, and inadvertently get detoured to drive past the church??? I use the word Godincedence when something happens that has very little explanation.

First, I think that I will take the time to contact this country church, explain the amazing happenstance, and strike up a pen-pal relationship with whomever is in charge. I can imagine the great things that might arise from the conversation.

Second, we all need to be on the lookout for Godincedences in our lives. We need to address the happinstance and discover what God’s plans might be in this circumstance.
